O objetivo do estudo foi analisar o perfil clínico epidemiológico e a distribuição espacial do tracoma em escolares do primeiro ao nono ano da rede municipal de ensino de Caxias-MA. Foram avaliados 6.211 escolares da rede de ensino entre os meses de agosto a novembro de 2016. O diagnóstico dos casos foi essencialmente clínico, sendo realizado também para os casos positivos, o exame laboratorial Imunofluorescência Direta - IFD, e o Geoprocessamento.

This research aimed to verify the bactericidal action of a bioactive product, the base of the essential oils of the plants Rosemary-pepper (Lippia menosides), and Citronella (Cymbopogon winterianus) on the bacterium Escherichia coli. Com o advento da internet, um conjunto de oportunidades surgiu, entre elas, a formação online através dos cursos abertos massivos online (MOOCs).Este artigo tem como objetivo apresentar através de uma discussão bibliográfica esta modalidade de cursos, e dados de um estudo exploratório com o mapeamento das instituições de ensino superior públicas que ofertam cursos desta natureza e seus modelos pedagógicos.Os dados encontrados revelam que: todos os cursos ofertados pelas instituições públicas recenseadas utilizam o modelo pedagógico xMOOC; que há uma maior concentração desses cursos no Sudes

Mushrooms are used as traditional food and to a lesser extent, as medicine compared to plants. In this study the biological properties of nine Burkinabé mushroom species (Chlorophyllum aff. molybdites, Phlebopus sudanicus, Lentinus squarrosulus, Lendzites elegans, Psatyrella tuberculata, Schizophylum commune, Ganoderma lucidum, Itajaya rosea and Laetiporus baudhanii) were evaluated, in order to contribute to the overall characterisation of these nonwood forest products.

Regarded as the most widely used psycho stimulant in the world, methylphenidate is the drug of choice for the treatment of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), a disorder currently very much addressed because it is present in children in school. Objetivo: Analisar a mortalidade por grandes capítulos da CID-10 em um município do Maranhão. Métodos: Trata-se de um estudo descritivo com abordagem quantitativa utilizando dados de 7.484 Declaração de Óbitos dos anos de 2006 a 2015 registrados no Sistema de Informação sobre Mortalidade. Resultados: Houve umaumento na taxa de mortalidade de 14,2% , sendo maissignificativo no sexo masculino. Redução de 5,8% na mortalidade por doenças do aparelho circulatório, aumento de 43,8% por neoplasias e de 35,9% por causas externas de morbimortalidade.

Artisanal fishing is an activity of great importance in Brazil and the Amazon, mainly for the generation of income and source of subsistence. The objective of this research is to characterize the artisanal fisheries of the Monsaráscommunity on Ilha do Marajó and to identify the relationships between these activities and factors related to the environment. The methodology was based on the application of a questionnaire to artisanal fishermen in this community and to carry out local observations.

The expectation around the behavioral changes that would mark the new millennium stimulatedstudies since the 1980s revealing a paradigm shift in the discourse on marketing and brands. Theconcept of experience was introduced as the new trend for business and consumer studies (Holbrook,Hirschman, 1982, Pine II, Gillmore 1998, Schmitt 2001). The objective of the study is to present an interventionist approach as a research methodology, in order to understand and analyze how small businesses can practice managerial actions, and at the same time, apply them in practice. Actions that can contribute to the continuity of micro and small companies in scenarios of difficulties and uncertainties, such as this caused by COVID-19. A literature review was carried out, analyzing some studies on interventionist research in the management of Micro and Small Enterprises.

Objective: To present the construction of an educational booklet on reception and risk classification in primary care. Methodology: The present study is a methodological research, whose four stages were elaborated for the construction of the booklet, namely: bibliographic survey, integrative review, textual elaboration and creation of the booklet.
