Evaluation of antimicrobial resistance in micro-organisms isolated in surfaces of the intensive care unit of a hospital in tres lagoas-ms, Brazil

We investigated the microbiological profile and antimicrobial resistance of bacteria isolated in inanimate surfaces of the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a hospital in Tres Lagoas. Samples of the different surface of ten beds, equipment and instruments inside the ICU were collected. The samples (134) were seeded on blood agar, isolated and identified following a standard protocol.

Cookies enriched with panc flour: acceptance and sensorial characterization

Unconventional Food Plants (PANC) are characterized by native edible species that have a great food potential being source of many of nutrients, besides respecting agroecological and sustainability concepts. The present study aims to determinate the acceptance and sensory characterization of enriched cookies with different PANC flour using check-all-that-apply (CATA) methodology. The selected PANC flour were prepared and cookies elaborated.

Uma pesquisa sobre previsão de séries temporais não-estacionárias via modelos fuzzy evolutivos

The present work aims to present a brief review on optimal granular evolutionary models that can provide accurate and granular predictions of flow of big meteorological data (big data). This environment is based on the theory of multicriteria optimization and is concerned not only with the accuracy of predictive models, but also with the specificity of information granules, delta-data coverage, and compression and structural evolution of fuzzy rules. The prediction problem is non-stationary and, of course, requires incremental strategies and evolutionary modeling.
