The aim of the study is pre and post-reforms of industrialization and its impact on economic growth and employment in India. Industrialization is an essential condition of economic progress. India too occupies Top 10 position among industrialized nations on the basis of aggregate production through on the basis of per capita consumption of industrial goods it is bracketed with underdeveloped countries. The process of industrial growth was accelerated in India with the industrial policy resolution of 1956.
