Violence committed against women on the marital relation scope is a historical and cultural issue that still nowadays is part of Brazilian women’s reality. This issue becomes more complex, when facing the difficulties of measuring its social impact that is noticed in interior towns, due to the lack of records and statistics regarding the violence to the female gender. This way, this paper is the outcome of a research about domestic violence against women in the city of Ibicuí-BA.

This study aimed to present a prototype system to assist the scientific police to identify criminals. This is a descriptive applied research, with a qualitative approach using the hypothetical-deductive method; developed during the specialization course in Criminal Forensics, in Brazil. This study utilized qualitative research methods to capture international youth voices regarding issues and concerns they face as students in the Midwestern US and the possible strategies to resolve such challenges. Graduate and undergraduate students representing 20 different countries participated in the study. Language, assimilation, support, religion, employment, and finances (LASREF), emerged as a fundamental six- factor precept that can be used in addressing international students' concerns.

The Work And The Interpersonal Relationships With Patients Presenting Alcohol-Related Disorders

Objective: The objective of this study was to identify the attitudes of Primary Health Care professionals toward the work and interpersonal relationships with patients who present disorders related to alcohol use. Methods: This is a cross-sectional study that was performedthrough the application of two questionnaires in a non-probabilistic sample of 489 health professionals working in Primary Health Care in the city of Uberlândia, Minas Gerais state, Brazil. Results: Data analysis allowed identifyingthat the professionals presented negative attitudes toward the work with these patients.
