Elderly people with self-reported systemic arterial hypertension: health conditions and functional capacity

Systemic arterial hypertension with a significant incidence in the elderly population, associated with functional disability and other comorbidities, is a public health problem. This study aimed to verify the functional capacity and comorbidities of elderly patients with systemic arterial hypertension. It is a cross-sectional, population-based study using questionnaires on sociodemographic, behavioral and anthropometric data, as well as on morbidity, use of medicines and functional capacity assessment. We interviewed 286 elderly individuals who self-reported arterial hypertension.

Development transition from least developed country (LDC) to developing country: current progress and challenges of Bangladesh

Bangladesh has recently (2018) fulfilled the conditions for becoming a developing country from the least developed country which will be further reviewed by the United Nations Committee for Development Policy (UNCPD). If the progress become satisfactory, ECOSOC (Economic and Social Council) of UN will confirm graduation of Bangladesh as a developing country by 2024. Therefore, this study evaluates the development transition including current progresses and challenges ahead of Bangladesh for its smooth graduation by using World Bank and UN data.

Thus, freedom of information is directly related to this connotation of democracy. RTI is an institutional reality of freedom of information which has been taken by the Indian Parliament. Management of cooperatives for socioeconomic development in vila camburão in the municipality of alenquer, with emphasis on cumaru

The present article analyzed the cumaru almond (Dipteryxodorada) in the municipality of Alenquer-Pará. The primary information was obtained at Vila Camburão, by means of interviews with agents involved in commercialization and extraction. The secondary information was obtained through the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE), as well as other sites focused on agribusiness and rural commerce. The information collected shows the great productive potential that the municipality presents faced the national scenario.

Strategy as social practice: a study on the implementation of strategies at acafe universities

This study aimed to understand the process of implementation of strategies in three Institutions of Higher Education in light of the Strategy as Social Practice. The theoretical approach adopted was the Practical Strategy - EPS - articulated with the discursive practices. EPS seeks to understand the process of formulating and implementing strategies, based on the activities carried out by practitioners in their daily lives, as well as, through culture, processes and the integration of their actors.
