Schistosoma affects about 200 million of poor people worldwide, with Schistosomamansoni being the leading cause of myeloradiculopathy syndrome that induces paraplegia, sexual and bladder dysfunction. In this context the weakness and muscular spasticity of the lower limbs directly affect the gait. Thus, the objective of this study was to present clinical-functional profileand to correlate the time of injury with gait impairment in cases of Myeloradiculopathy due to Neuroschistosomiasis in the State of Sergipe.

Although the number of cases of total edentulism in Brazil is high, no study in Amapá has focused on it. Therefore, this study aimed to develop a sociodemographic characterization of implants-supported total prosthesis users and total prothesis tissue-suported. Two hundred and ninety-nine users of tissue-supported total dentures and 48 users of implant-supported total dentures were surveyed using a sociodemographic questionnaire approved by the Ethics Committee of the Federal University of Amapa.

This study aimed to analyze the current literature approaches to the use of fluoxetine in the treatment of depression. It is an article based on bibliographical research published between the years of 2002 to 2018. A total of 70 studied contents were included, and after selective and meticulous reading, 19 papers and two dissertations were submitted to compose this review. The present study aimed to find the main Nursing Diagnostics of NANDA International that permeate the practice of professionals who provide care to clients with cardiological and hemodynamic demands. Data collection was done in the Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde (BVS). A total of 117 potential studies were retrieved in the BVS. However, after the implementation of the eligibility criteria, the total number of publications selected was reduced to the total of 11 articles that composed the sample. Higher education is the dream of many adults for perceiving that through qualification there is a possibility of being professionally satisfied and obtaining better conditions of life. This study evaluated potential motives for adult active students’ evasion from higher education courses of a federal institution. It concerns toa quantitative study, cross-sectional design and questions related to qualitative aspects. Data was collected through a validated scale that evaluates the motives for Higher Education evasion.

Two hundred ninety-nine users of total tissue-supported prostheses and 48 users of total implant-supported prostheses were surveyed using two questionnaires: The Oral Health Impact Profile-14Br and a visual analog scale of satisfaction.

Depression is the common problem in geriatric population but it is under estimated or may not be concentrated by the health professionals. Untreated depression leads to poor quality of life or ultimately loss of life. Recent studies concentrates on alternative therapy instead the pharmacotherapy which is associated with many untoward effects. This study assessed and compared the pre and post test depression and also studied the influence of the demographic variables of the elderly those residing at old age home.
