The profile of homicide perpetrators in belém-pa: An analysis from feminist criminology

This study aims at showing the Profile of Perpetrators and victims of homicide crime in Belém-Pará and presenting the literature from feminist criminology by addressing female authorship as the central theme of the research and thus arousing interest beyond culture of victimization imposed by patriarchy in a macro sociological perspective in the construction of criminalized women. The methodological course conducts a quantitative study from the records of Bulletins of Police Occurrence of women who committed homicide from 2011 to 2017.

Smile's aesthetic perception analysis by dental surgeons, dentistry students, and lay people

Introduction: The growing search for esthetics, by patients, requires more and more knowledge about many situations and anatomical variations by both dental surgeons and dentistry students. Therefore, this project's goal is to analyze the smile's alteration of its aesthetic perception by dental surgeons, dentistry students, and lay people. Methods: That was made by means of a survey composed of six smile changes' frontal images, on which the participant chose what looked more and less attractive.

Management of pasture based on dmpd. review

The aim of this study is to discuss the management of pasture based on potentially digestible dry matter (DMpd). Tropical forage species are used in the extensive system as the main source of roughage for cattle. Tropical forages have nutritional deficiencies, mainly in the dry season, due to the low rainfall and climatic adversities, and it is interesting to use alternatives to supply this deficit or management that help in production of good quality roughage.

Remediation of groundwater contamination using plant based biosorbent materials

This study reveals about the importance of using an eco-friendly approach for the removal of heavy metal ions from groundwater. The potential abilities of economically cheaper natural biosorbents (Banana and Citron peels) were studied at different intervals during the removal of heavy metal ions (Copper and Lead). The two metal ions studied were copper and lead by preparing aqueous solution and also from ground water sample. The biosorption of metals was studied by various techniques such as Atomic-absorption spectroscopy (AAS) and Fourier Transform Infra-Red Spectroscopy (FTIR).
