This study aims todesign and developa Collapsible Four Valve Spring Compressorand assess its functionality in terms ofdesign, construction and operating performance. The study employed a descriptive - development design, weighted mean as the statistical tool, questionnaire and actual observation to gather data. Based on the findings of the assessment, the researcher concluded that the Collapsible Four Valve Spring Compressorishighly functional in terms of design, construction and operating performance.

The developed electronic biomedical dynamometer was able to measure palmar grip strengths and varying forces over time produced by grip forces ranging from 5 N to 1000 N. This dynamometer has a very affordable mechanical structure, compact signal conditioning circuit and microcomputer. The mechanical structure consists of a dynamic support developed in Metalon and a static support also developed in Metalon.

This article is an extract from the study: ‘Decentralization and Quality Education in Community Schools on the Coper-belt Province’ which sought to investigate the decentralized structural and administrative challenges, as well as opportunities faced by community schools. A descriptive survey design was used in this study. Purposive sampling was used to select 45 head teachers, two District Education Board Secretaries, two District Resource Centre Coordinators and the Chief of Party of Education Development Centre, Time To Learn Project USAID, Zambia.

This paper records the influence of the beliefs associated with the birds amongst the dwellers at FazendaFervente, in the municipality of Ribeira do Amparo, state of Bahia, northeastern Brazil.

We aim to analyze how the world of work in the Family Health Strategy was configured in the first decade of the 2000s from the nurses’ perspective, especially with regard to permanent and continuing health education; selection and recruitment of professionals; and the guarantee of sufficient material resources, equipment and supplies for the operation of the health units and teams. It is a qualitative study, with a critical analytical approach, developed in a Brazilian city in the state of Bahia.

This article approaches the sort of industrial policy that has been adopted during the last eighteen years in the city of Aguascalientes, Mexico. Such public policy stands out due to its use of formal and informal (i.e. illegal) means to attract Foreign Direct Investment (FDI). The objective of research is to carry out qualitative analysis against political process in policy making concerning National Budget of Indonesian Republic. Method of this research is qualitative approach. Result of this research indicates that political process in budgeting policy making begins with planning, continues toward discussion, and ends at pro-people budget realization. Every member of People’s Representative Council, either personally or Fractions, must improve their competency and commitment to the actualization of pro-people budget shaped by political process.

Transformational leadership is defined as a leadership approach that causes change in individuals and social systems. In its ideal form, it creates valuable and positive change in the followers with the end goal of developing followers into leaders. Enacted in its authentic form, transformational leadership enhances the motivation, morale and performance of followers through a variety of mechanisms.

This article is entitled "The influence of basic motor skills in children aged 6 to 12 years in the athletics modality", where our interest was to investigate the methods and training stages applied in the wrong way in the modalities to impair the athletics modality. Therefore, we defined the general objective, to analyze the influence of the basic motor skills of running, jumping and throwing in children from 6 to 12 years, for good performance in athletics in physical education classes.
