Automobile accidents are the third leading cause of death in the world, causing individual aggravations and economic impacts. The high demand for emergency services, rehabilitation, and permanent or transitory disability of the victims generate high costs in the public sectors. Considering the relevance of the theme, this study aimed at investigating the profile of the occurrence of multiple trauma by automobile accident in the Associação Beneficente Santa Casa de Campo Grande MS, Brazil, a reference hospital in traumatology in the region.

Epidemiology of hemodialysis in chronic renal failure patients in haditha general hospital

Background: Hemodialysis is one of three renal replacement therapy, the other two being renal transplant and peritoneal dialysis .it's a process of purifying the blood of person whose kidney are not working normally. it's achieves the extra corporeal removal of waste products such as creatnine and urea and free water from the blood when the kidney are in a state of renal failure. over 2 million people worldwide received hemodialysis. Objectives: to determine the epidemiology, etiological factor and out comes among patients with chronic renal failure treated by hemodialysis.

Relationship between toothclenching and temporomandibular disorders

Toothclenching is multifactorial condition and it is responsible for generating an overload on the teeth, periodontium, muscles and temporomandibular joints (TMJ). Overload or hyperactivity in the joint can promote joint dysfunction that causes painful symptoms. A parafunctional habit such as the toothclenching involves a big context in the organism and may represent a predisposing factor as well as an exacerbation of temporomandibular dysfunction and chronic pain development. Furthermore, it has consequences on the survival of restorative and rehabilitation treatments.

Objectives: Comparison of the Goal attainment scale and the Berg Balance Scale for Assessing Balance impairment People With acute right side stroke Design: A Validation study, Physiotherapy and rehabilitation centre. Subjects: This study was carried out with 7 patients of age between 40-70 years who had acute right side stroke. Intervention: Score was evaluated using Goal Attainment scale (VAS), and Score was evaluated by Berg Balance Scale which was recorded at base line and at the end of week.

Comparison between the efficacy of combined the drugs: metformin – letrazole with metformin – clomiphene citrate in polycystic ovarian syndrome

BackGround: The combination of the drug: Metformin and the antiestrogen (clomiphene citrate) in clomiphene –resistant PCOS patients enhance the ovulatory response of those patients. Although there is anti-estrogenic effects of clomiphene, it may be also associated with lower pregnancy rate. Inaddition to the the ovulation rate benefit, Letrazole is acting as an "aromatase inhibitor" which increases the ovulation rate without antiestogenic side effects of estrogen.

Comparison of oral health conditions and salivary changes in patients with rheumatoid arthritis: a cross-sectional study

Aim: to evaluate the association of oral health conditions, caries index and salivary changes in patients with and without Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) in an assisted population by the specialized component of pharmaceutical assistance. Method: In this study, 87 patients participated, of who 64 were in the test group (patients diagnosed with RA), and 23 patients in the control group (Patients without the disease). Results: Of the patients analyzed, a higher prevalence was observed of AR affecting adults over the age of 50, with predilection for the female sex.
