The study explored the clustering of risk factors and associations between nutritional status, biochemical parameters, insulin resistance, and cytokine biomarkers in rural and industrial workers. A cross-sectional study with 71 individuals, 41 women and 30 men. The following variables were used: gender, age, body mass index, waist circumference, total cholesterol, HDL-c, LDL-c, triglycerides, fasting glycemia, visceral fat area, fat percentage, TyG, Visceral Adiposity Index (VAI), Lipid Accumulation Product (LAP), cytokines (IL-6, IL-1β, IL-8, TNF-α, and IL-10).

Objetivo:Analisar o uso de instrumentos de rastreio, diagnóstico e avaliação de pessoas no espectro do Autismo. This Adolescence is a pivotal period marked by many physical and psychological changes and a quest for significant autonomy. But the eating habits acquired during this period tend to persist over time and influence growth and long-term health. The purpose of this study was to improve the lifestyle of teenagers in the city of Daloa. To this end; she focused on developing a model for estimating body composition in a group of adolescents (176 girls and 175 boys) aged 11 to 17, enrolled in five secondary schools in the city of Daloa.

The networked formal water in peri-urban areas is limited in urban Tanzania. Technical difficulties associated with extending water and sanitation infrastructure to peri-urban areas, problems in relation to land tenure, and economic costs are some of the elements that have contributed to the slow progress. However, there is scanty literature on the dynamics and governance of municipal services delivery in peri-urban areas, especially access to potable water and good sanitation.

Objective: To identify the social factors associated with suicide attempt in the municipality of Gameleira-PE. Methods: This is a quantitative study, conducted in the municipality of Gameleira-PE. Data collection used the notification form given to the Epidemiological Surveillance that composed the database. The program used for typing and retrieval of statistical calculations was the IBM SPSS in version 2.3, presenting the data as tables.

Pregnancy is not a protective factor for domestic violence and in this period, women may become more vulnerable to physical, sexual and psychological abuse. Domestic violence is defined as acts performed by partners or former partners who lived or not in the same household, with violence perpetrated in this or another place. This study aimed to describe the intimate partner violence perpetrated in women who are in the age group corresponding to the reproductive cycle. This is a literature review study based on scientific articles.

Introduction: Hepatitis is an important public health problem in Brazil, with different regional distributions. Objective: This study analyzed the epidemiological profile of viral hepatitis in the State of Maranhão between 2008 and 2017. Method: An observational, quantitative, longitudinal and retrospective study of the cases reported in SINAN was performed. 6,876 confirmed cases were registered, predominantly in the urban area and in the capital city of São Luís.

The Katz scale created by Sidney Katz evaluates the basic activity of daily living in relation to the functional capacity where it performs the instrumentation of six functions, having the performance of qualifying and weighing the dependence level of the elderly by measuring their autonomy or disability, so that, through the result, sanction more effective assistance with supervision, guidance and care essential for the promotion of health of the elderly. Methodology: This is an integrative literature review.

This study is the result of a master's dissertation degree and had the purpose of evaluating the contribution of the nurse preceptor in the resident’s formation at the Program in Intensive Care Unit (ICU), an Uniprofessional Nursing Residency, in a teaching reference hospital, located at Belem, Pará, Brazil. The methodology adopted was a qualitative, descriptive and exploratory study, conducted through interviews with 12 nurses who act as preceptors of a Uniprofessional Nursing Residency Program, from June to August 2019.
