Effective mental retardation education and involvement care of mental retardation children to remain continuum care involvement activities of mentally challenged children for the foreseeable future. Objective: This experimental study aimed to explore how parents acquire knowledge and skills in assessing and managing involvement care of mentally challenged children. Method: Research Design: A quasi experimental pre-test-post-test control group design. Setting; Auditorium hall at Life Help Centre, Chennai. Participants: parents whose children attended Life Help Centre.

Objective: To understand the social representations of maternal mourning for women who have experienced it. Method: Descriptive and exploratory study with a qualitative approach, based on Serge Moscovici's Theory of Social Representations. For data analysis, the Bardin Content Analysis Technique was used.

Introduction: Stroke is the second leading cause of death in the world and in developing countries. It is a pathology causing many disability situations and is a medical emergency because of its potential severity; the short-term vital prognosis may be engaged. The objective of our study is to evaluate the epidemiological aspects of this condition in the the Army Teaching Hospital OMAR BONGO ONDIMBA (HIA OBO) Patients and method: Prospective and descriptive study from 1st August 2017 to 28th February 2018 at HIAOBO.

The authors are commenting on the study entitled: “Clinical characteristics and outcome of posterior cystoid macular degeneration in chronic central serous chorioretinopathy” published by Mohabati et al. in Retina Journal 2020;40(9):1742-1750, which evaluated clinical characteristics and visual outcome in 62 chronic central serous chorioretinopathy patients (83 eyes) with posterior cystoid retinal degeneration.

Objetivo: refletir sobre o protagonismo da Enfermagem e seus impactos no enfrentamento da COVID-19. Método: trata-se de ensaio teórico reflexivo, com base em análises de reuniões científicas sobre a pandemia da COVID-19 no ano de 2020. Argumentações reflexivas foram desenhadas sobre dois eixos temáticos, enaltecendo o protagonismo da Enfermagem no enfrentamento da COVID-19 e os impactos que a infecção produz para a Enfermagem brasileira. Resultados: Ainda são insuficiente os equipamentos de proteção individual e condições inadequadas de trabalho.

Introdução: O abuso sexual infantil é caracterizado por qualquer ação, interação ou manipulação entre uma criança ou adolescente com indivíduos situados em estágio sexual de desenvolvimento mais adiantado, tendo por objetivo a satisfação sexual deste último (WHO, 2006). Os docentes apresentam um papel fundamental para prevenção e detecção do abuso, por essa razão faz-se necessário estimar o conhecimento dos educadores para prevenção da ocorrência e tomada de posicionamentos adequados que assegurem a proteção infanto juvenil.

Objetivo: Analisar os aspectos referentes a vivência da sexualidade entre idosos e a sua relação com a assistência à saúde. Métodos: Trata-se de uma revisão integrativa da literatura, conduzida por dois revisores independentes, nas bases de dados SCIELO, LILACS e BDENF. Para a definição da pergunta norteadora utilizou-se a estratégia PICO e quanto ao processo de seleção dos estudos, utilizou-se o fluxograma PRISMA. As buscas abrangeram o período de 2014 a 2018, sendo selecionados os artigos disponíveis em português, na íntegra e no formato original.

This study focuses on the Jornal Nacional (JN), the most-watched television news in Brazil. We used two guiding objectives; the first seeks to analyze information broadcast by JN; the second aims to discuss the gaps in the program's report and how the lack of clarification to the population can impact local development. We collected the data during the prime-time of Brazilian television, between 8:30 pm and 9:30 pm. We analyzed all programs in April 2020. In this period, the Covid-19 pandemic advanced in Brasil, and the National Congress amended the Brazilian Constitution.

O reconhecimento das lacunas empíricas e teóricas da ciência é o processo inicial para a construção do conhecimento. Geralmente a busca pelas lacunas se dão nos artigos de revisão de literatura. Neste sentido, o objetivo deste artigo consiste em apresentar uma revisão bibliométrica da literatura que buscou encontrar essas lacunas dentro da Contabilidade Ambiental. Este processo facilitaria na identificação dos problemas de pesquisa latentes na área. Utilizaram-se as ferramentas bibliometrix e o RStudio como métodos que facilitaram a compilação dos resultados.
