Effective mental retardation education and involvement care of mental retardation children to remain continuum care involvement activities of mentally challenged children for the foreseeable future. Objective: This experimental study aimed to explore how parents acquire knowledge and skills in assessing and managing involvement care of mentally challenged children. Method: Research Design: A quasi experimental pre-test-post-test control group design. Setting; Auditorium hall at Life Help Centre, Chennai. Participants: parents whose children attended Life Help Centre.
