Inventory of pesticides use in cashew nuts orchards in the north of Côte D'Ivoire
The majority of cashew farmers in the North of Cote d’Ivoire use many types of pesticides to control pests and diseases that attack this crop. This utilization doesn’t respect good agricultural practices. Study was based on the use of questionnaires and interviews that were conducted in Poro (Korhogo), Tchologo (Ferké), Bagoué (Boundiali) Gbêkê (Bouaké) and Gontougo (Bondoukou) Districts. It investigates farmer’s practices on cashew pest management using pesticides and related orchards density and seeds origin.
