Desempenho da marcha nos diferentes ambientes em pacientes com paralisia cerebral níveis ii e iii

Introduction: Cerebral palsy is a predominantly sensorimotor disorder that involves disorders of muscle tone, posture, and voluntary movements, caused by non-progressive brain injuries. This health condition significantly interferes with the child's interaction in relevant contexts, which influences the acquisition and performance of basic motor milestones, as well as the daily routine activities. It is also known that the stimuli given to patients are extremely important for neuropsychomotor development, and they can act as facilitating or limiting functionality.

A investigação é qualitativa e seguiu a metodologia empregada pelo interacionismo brasileiro, de forma que as sessões foram filmadas, transcritas e, posteriormente, analisadas.

A new Segmented Plume Approach for Pollutant Dispersion Modelling

A segment approach is presented that allows to describe the temporal evolution of the dispersion of passive pollutants in non-stationary meteorological conditions. The methodology consists of a continuous series of source emissions integrated in time intervals whose result is a plume segment and has no numerical inversion, which refines earlier literature approaches. The dispersion of pollutants is subject to advection in horizontal direction and turbulent diffusion in all three directions, in an inhomogeneous and non-stationary atmospheric boundary layer.

Causal factors of under diagnosis in cachectic patients affected by cancer of the gastrointestinal tract

Artificial intelligence for support of the bioethical decision-making of nurses related to end of life issues

Health professionals, especially nurses, are often compelled to make decisions in face of bioethical issues commonly related to intensive care environments. Due to their complexities and particularities, these issues end up generating great physical and emotional strain on the professional.
