Alto risco para diabetes mellitus tipo 2 em usuarios sadios da estratégia saúde da família

Diabetes mellitus tipo 2 é desordem metabólica de etiologia heterogênea, caracterizada por hiperglicemia crônica e distúrbios no metabolismo. O rastreamento de DM2 é realizado na Atenção Primária de Saúde com o objetivo de diagnosticar pessoas sintomáticas ou assintomáticas, ou pessoas com risco de desenvolver a doença. O objetivo deste estudo foi analisar o perfil de usuários com alto risco para DM2 no Distrito de Dourados em Horizonte, Ceará, Brasil.

Presenting slat-thinking second version and its content validity

Students’ Approaches to Learning is an important theory in Educational Psychology that investigates the interaction of students with objects of knowledge and how this interaction affects learning outcomes. Recently, the Students’ Learning Approach Test (SLAT-Thinking) was proposed as a pioneer methodology to investigate approaches to learning through performance in a given task. Nevertheless, this test has presented some issues regarding the high probably of answering correctly by chance. This paper presents a new version of this performance test, SLAT-Thinking 2.

Tuberculosis and HIV: reality in a penitentiary system in the metropolitan region of belém do pará

Objective: to analyze the occurrence of tuberculosis and HIV in a prison system. Method: a descriptive study with a qualitative approach, carried out in a penitentiary in the of city Santa Izabel, located in the metropolitan region of Belém/Pará. Six nurses working in the prison system were interviewed. Results: as in other studies, tuberculosis and HIV are prevalent within the penitentiary, thus demonstrating the need for more effective public health policies to face this problem.

Conhecimento e adesão de universitárias na prevenção do câncer de colo de útero no interior de São Paulo - Brasil

Objetivo: Identificar o nível de conhecimento sobre o câncer de colo uterino, as possíveis limitações e dificuldades na realização da citologia oncológica e a vacinação contra o HPV de universitárias da Universidade de Franca. Métodos: Foi aplicado um formulário online em alunas da UNIFRAN (Universidade de Franca) pelo Google Forms após consentimento do TCLE. Os dados coletados foram analisados utilizando o Excel. Resultados: Quando questionadas sobre o Papanicolau 97,4% das participantes dizem conhecer o exame sendo que 45,17% foram apresentadas a ele pelos profissionais de saúde.

A precária situação carcerária brasileira e sua permanência no que se convencionou chamar, no Brasil, de “estado de coisas inconstitucional”, culminou no reconhecimento pelo Supremo Tribunal Federal, por meio da Arguição de Descumprimento de Preceito Fundamental n. 347, de 2015 da inconstitucionalidade do sistema prisional brasileiro. O objetivo do presente foi buscar compreender os limites e possibilidades de aplicação da Teoria da Cegueira Deliberada como causa do Estado de Coisas Inconstitucional no sistema prisional no Brasil e no Estado de Rondônia.

Non-cultivated plants that produce nectar and pollen, are already seen as important sources of food for bees, supporting the development of beekeeping and meliponiculture. Stingless indigenous bees are fundamental to ecosystems, considering their efficiency as pollinators. The objective was to identify the main botanical species of non-cultivated plants explored during the foraging of meliponines, during the four climatic seasons of the year, and the capacity of the Jataí bee (Tetragoniscaangustula), as pollinator of these plants.

Effects of health education on the prevention of diabetic foot: systematic review with meta-analysis

The diabetic foot represents a clinical problem with repercussions on the quality of life but also an economic one. Self-care of the feet can prevent ulcers and consequently amputations in diabetic people. Aim: To evaluate the effects of health education actions in the foot care of people with diabetes. Methods: A systematic review with meta-analysis was performed. The descriptors used were “Nursing,” “Self-care,” “Disease Prevention,” and “Diabetic Foot,” associated with the Boolean operators AND and OR. The final data collection resulted in ten articles.

Cagaita pulp (eugenia dysenterica dc): extraction technology and physical-chemical characterization

The cagaita (Eugenia dysenteric DC) is a native fruit from Cerrado with a globose shape, light yellow color, and slightly acidic taste. Besides having functional properties, making it is widely used in chronic constipation treatments. It is a fruit with a unique flavor and can be used in agro-industries in ice cream, jams, jellies, juices, and the like. This work's objective was to present the technology used in extracting of fruit pulp from Eugenia desynterica DC since harvest time until the storage process and its physicochemical characterization.

Tomato is considered one of the most important vegetable species, because in addition to its use in natura, it can also be processed in several ways, such as extract, pulp, sauce and peeled tomato. This article aimed to evaluate the processing of tomatoes from the Paraná’s Supply Center (CEASA) in Maringá/PR and from a rural property located in the region of Maringá/PR. To perform the study, samples of tomatoes were collected and their quality was assessed by means of physical-chemical, microbiological analysis and determination of lycopene content.

A maioria das lesões cutâneas cicatriza naturalmente, entretanto, feridas graves necessitam de tratamento, no qual são utilizados os curativos. Um curativo ideal deve adaptar-se à superfície de aplicação, impedir a desidratação e a penetração de microrganismos.
