Nursing now: Operationalization process of nursing work in the face of the sars-Cov-2 (Covid-19) Pandemic

This study aimed to discuss the Nursing Now campaign: process of operationalization of Nursing work in the face of the SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) pandemic. It is a theoretical reflection based on scientific literature. The pandemic highlights the importance of Nursing care for the maintenance of life and the right to health. The Nursing Now campaign calls for the appreciation of nursing professionals who are currently working on the front lines of the fight against COVID-19.

Advanced practice nursing (apn) and primary health care (phc) in Brazil: A theoretical-scientific survey

The objective was to relate through the theoretical-scientific reference the Advanced Practice of Nursing and Primary Health Care in Brazil. Descriptive study, integrative review, where the theoretical-scientific survey was carried out by crossing the following Health Sciences Descriptors (DeCs): “Advanced Nursing Practice” and “Primary Health Care”, with the use of Boolean operators AND, and OR, through the VHL, in the SciELO Virtual Library and LILACS Database.

Analysis of the brain death protocol applied in a hospital in the são francisco valley region in Brazil: Methodological approach developed by nurses

Brain Death (BD) is the total and irreversible stoppage of brain functions proven by clinical and complementary exams to verify the absence of flow, electrical and metabolic activity of the brain. The objective was to analyze the protocol for the diagnosis of Brain Death in a University Hospital in the city of Petrolina-PE. This is a descriptive, documentary, exploratory, retrospective, quantitative study, from January 2014 to July 2015.

Characterization of eligible organ and tissue donors from a university hospital in the city of petrolina-pe

Application of complexity theory in construction industry: a review

Complexity theory considers objects as systems. A system is understood as a set of elements linked together by a common objective. In this way, construction is a system composed of a numerous element that originate an emergent behavior that cannot be explained in these elements taken in isolation. Currently, there has not been studied and identified the application of complexity in construction industry. Therefore, in this paper, the attempt is to provide a systematic review of application of complexity theory in construction industry.

Optimization techniques applied to mineral flow problem in different transportation modes

This article discusses the flow of minerals in open-pit mines, emphasizing the type of modal used to perform. Also, it discusses simulation techniques of productive systems based on applied science that aims at solving real problems, that is, operational research. It was believed that the modal through which the flow is made is a determining factor in the productivity of an open-pit mine and an attempt was made to find a modal (or a combination of modes) whose use would represent an optimal solution to the problem of ore flow.

Educational strategies to overcome “botanical blindness” in basic education

The term “botanical blindness” refers to people’s inability to perceive plants in the environment, which may be related to the existence of students who show little interest in the subjects of Botany in Basic Education.
