Bitter gourd (Momordica charantia L.; 2n= 2x=22.) belongs to the family Cucurbitaceae, the genus Momordica and the species Momordica charantia. It is known as bitter melon, bitter cucumber, bitter squash, balsam pear, karela, cassilla and maiden apple. It is also vernacularly designated as bitter melon, bitter squash, balsam pear, karela, bitter apple, or wild cucumber in different countries and regions The English name is Bitter Gourd, Hindi name is Karela, Sanskrit name is Karvellak, karvelli, Katphala, and Gujrati name is Karelo, Kadhwa. M.

The present investigation entitled effect of different organic liquid formulations on growth and yield of Soybeanwas carried out during the rabi season 2021 on the field of ASPEE, Agricultural Research and Development Foundation, Tansa Farm, At- Nare, Taluka- Wada, Dist- Palghar, Maharashtra, India. The experiment was laid out in Randomized Block Design (RBD). The five treatments of different organic liquid formulation (Jeevamrut @ 10%, Panchgavya @ 10%, Vermiwash @ 10%, Cowdung wash@ 10% and Cow urin@ 10%) along with control were replicated four times.

A Fisioterapia tem se tornado cada vez mais atuante no tratamento e prevenção dos agravos em saúde, especialmente pelo crescente número de acometimentos de cunho osteomioarticular. Dentre as metodologias fisioterapêuticas de abordagem, tem-se o Método Pilates, que se provou um método eficaz no tratamento e prevenção de diversos acometimentos, não tendo restrição de idade, versátil e com bons resultados.

O período gravídico é composto por diversas alterações físicas e mentais, com isso, faz-se necessário integralizar novas práticas para mitigar os desconfortos que acometem as mulheres durante a gestação. Nesse contexto, as praticas integrativas e complementares em saúde é uma alternativa para auxiliar na assistência humanizada no contexto do Sistema Único de Saude. Com isso, esse trabalho tem como objetivo principal compilar os achou bibliográficos acerca da temática proposta. A metodologia utilizada trata-se uma revisão de literatura, sendo utilizado a metodologia qualitativa.

This article aims to establish a survey of CO2e (t GWP) emissions and carbon sequestration in Brazilian livestock. The study considers CO2, CH4, N2O as GHG, being presented in carbon equivalent (CO2eq) in the metric GWP (global warming potential). Based on data from Greenhouse Gas Emission and Removal Estimating System, an estimate of carbon removals in the soil due to agricultural practices was included in an experimental way.

O estudo diz respeito da parametrização algébrica da hipérbole tratando com a relação com o seno e cosseno hiperbólico. A forma de parametrização escolhida é de caráter estritamente algébrico, evitando assim as manipulações geométricas e oportunizando que as identidades relacionadas ao círculo trigonométrico, sejam aplicadas de forma mais eficaz. Portanto, as identidades são irrelevantes para esta parametrização e sem necessidade se usar matriz de rotação corroborando em utilização de transposições didáticas da geometria analítica.

The psychologically impactful hair loss caused by a hereditary pattern, known as androgenetic alopecia (AGA), can occur in men as in women. Among medicines, finasteride has been used in association with blend-containing growth factors. The objective of this work was to evaluate the effects of the association between finasteride & blend-containing growth factors using a bacterial reverse mutation assay. Both compounds or in the mixture were subjected to TA97a, TA98, TA100, and TA102 with (+S9) and without (-S9) metabolic activation, using different concentration and combinations.

There is considerable agreement that neither type of fertilizer can be used without good agricultural production, and that organic matter and mineral fertilizers play their role (Dudal, 2002; FAO, 1999). A test was conducted in the Ngandajika region using a mineral fertilizer (DAP), a manure combining bat-guano and DAP, and a manure combining Tithonia diversifolia and DAP. The following results were recorded: Of two varieties, QPM3 yielded 3.87 Mg/Ha higher than Mus1 yielded 3.08 Mg/Ha.

La communauté des névroptères oufourmilions (Myrmeleontidae) sont des insectes cosmopolites. Un inventaire de ces Myrmeleontidae, a été réalisé pendant de 15 mois consécutifs dans trois zones agro-écologiques (zone soudanienne, zone soudano-sahélienne et zone sahélienne) du Burkina Faso. Ces captures ont été faites la journée à l’aide d’un filet entomologique et durant la nuit en utilisant un piège lumineux. Cette étude a permis de recenser 51 espèces de Myrmeleontidae et une abondance différente en fonction des zones climatiques (p<0,001).

Doxycycline has been widely studied for off-label use as neuroprotective and is capable to reduce oxidative stress in several neurodegenerative diseases. However, it is necessary to assess the safety of long-term exposure to doxycycline once neurodegenerative diseases generally require chronic treatments. Thus, we evaluated the safety of doxycycline in chronic use through hematological, biochemical, redox, and histological analysis. Male Wistar rats were divided into two groups: control (saline 0.9%) and experimental (10 mg/kg doxycycline/day), for 93 days, n=8 animals/group.
