Mitotic effect of alcohol and petroleum ether extract of the stem of boerhaavia diffusa l. on root meristem of allium cepa l.

Boerhaavia diffusa L. is a perennial creeping weed contains 15 amino acids, including 6 essential aminoacids and a large number of such compounds as flavonoids, alkaloids, steroids, triterpenoids, lipids, lignins, carbohydrates, proteins, and glycoproteins. The concentrations are set as 0.05%, 0.1%, 0.15% and 0.2 % using petroleum ether and ethyl alcohol extract of stem. The duration of the treatment is 30 minutes prior to mitotic peak. The mitotic index and index of various stages of mitosis are scored along with the number of abnormal cells.

Quantil regression of eariable coefficient single index can be added model with longitudinal data

In this paper, we consider the problem of quantile regression for the variable-coefficient single-index model which can be added to the vertical data. An estimating method is used to estimate the variable-coefficient single-scale model, and the unknown function is obtained. In this paper, we use the method of simulation to illustrate the validity of the proposed method and the validity of the proposed method. In some cases, we prove that the obtained quantile estimate has progressive normality In addition, Practicality.

Assessment of health and social challenges of street children in enugu urban, southeast

Background: Street Children Phenomenon is global, escalating and becoming public health concern, especially in developing countries including Nigeria. In Enugu urban, it is common to see children loitering about, hawking or doing some other menial tasks with or without consent of parents or guardians. Obviously these tasks are fraught with diverse risks and challenges. Therefore, there is need to study these children with view of harnessing and planning for them today through appropriate intervention for a better tomorrow.

Effect of organic and inorganic sources of nutrients on yield and yield attributes and nutrient uptake in maize

Experiment was conducted in plot No. 126 of E block, Main Agricultural Research Station (MARS), University of Agricultural Sciences, Dharwad during kharif, 2011. The geographical co-ordinates of the experimental site are 15026' N latitude and 75007'E longitude and an altitude of 678 m above mean sea level (MSL). Grain yield was significantly influenced by the application of organic and inorganic sources of nutrients.

Activity limitation and participation restriction of communication skills in vocational training of adults with intellectual disability

Aim:- The study evaluated communication skills of adults with intellectual disability pursuing vocational training. In specific terms, the issues addressed were whether communication skills vary with severity of retardation and whether communication skills impact nature of vocational trade. Method: - The International Classification of Functioning (ICF) framework was used to answer these research questions. The data was obtained in 62 adults with mild and moderate intellectual disability aged 18-30 years.

Clonal variation in selected wood anatomical properties and specific gravity of eucalyptus tereticornis sm. from two localities in Karnataka

A native of Australia and the East Indies, Eucalyptus was introduced to many parts of the world and today ranks as one of the most ubiquitous trees. Eucalyptustereticornis Sm. known as Mysore gum in India is one of the most extensively cultivated Eucalypt species to meet the ever increasing demand of paper and pulp, and wood based industries. The supply to the wood based industries has always fallen short of their requirements. Due to shortage of raw materials from forests, industries have started their own plantations.

Metallic glasses that save power and boost sustainable development

Innovative amalgamation of advances in disciplines like nanotechnology, thin film engineering and crystallography, has led to the design and fabrication of functional materials such as shape memory alloys, conducting polymers and metallic glass. These new materials exhibit better mechanical strength than the conventional materials and save the time taken in executing a task. One of these materials – the metallic glass, saves the consumption of energy and thus arrests the resultant degradation of environment. It also bears the potential to boost our longevity and health.

A pre-experimental study to assess the effectiveness of structured teaching programme on knowledge regarding behavioral problems of students among teachers of selected primary schools, Jalandhar, Punjab

Children are like wet cement; whatever falls on them makes an impression. So children need to adjust with this world to do their best in the future. Children normal behaviors depend on various natural and environmental circumstances in which a child grow and observes. The study setting was selected primary schools of Jalandhar, total 60 primary school teachers were selected as a study sample Experimental Research Approach was used during the study, Pre-experimental research design was used; the study was conducted by using purposive sampling technique.

Effect of different phosphorus levels on growth and yield of three varieties of cowpea (vignaunguiculata (l) walp) in mubi north local government area, adamawa state, Nigeria

This study determines the Effect of different Phosphorus levels on growth and yield of three varieties of cowpea (VignaUnguiculata (L) Walp) in 2016 rain fed cropping season. Phosphorus is very important for cowpea production in many tropical African soils with inherent low phosphorus fertilizer. Most farmers in this locality do not have access to phosphorus fertilizer. Selection of cowpea lines that produce good yield under low soil phosphorus or those with high phosphorus use efficiency can be a low input approach to solving this problem.
