Effect of wastewater on biodegradability of drilling fluid

This study reports the effect of waste water on biodegradation of drilling fluid contamination in brackish water environment. The experimental set ups include; Control 1(Brackish water with Water base drilling fluid) (BW+WB), Control 2 (Brackish water with Oil base drilling fluid) (BW+OB), Brackish water with Water base drilling fluid with Waste water (BW+WB+WW) and Brackish water with Oil base drilling fluid with Waste water (BW+OB+WW). Biodegradability was monitored for 28days.

Systematization of nursing assistance: nursing activities in uterine inversion

Study on economic feasibility of intercropping of kinnow (citrus reticulata blanco) with legume crops in the sub tropical region of Punjab

An experiment was carried out to study the production potential and economic feasibility of inter-cropping kinnow and legume crops at the nursery of Department of Horticulture, Khalsa College, Amritsar during 2016-2017.The productivity of the intercropping systems was found to differ significantly. The highest gross return was obtained from the kinnow + pea intercropping system and the lowest gross return was obtained from kinnow + coriander. The highest benefit - cost ratio (2.41) was recorded in kinnow + pea intercropped followed by T4 (2.05) and T5 (1.79).

Bell pepper performance with recycled nutrient solution

Mexican growers of greenhouse bell pepper (Capsicum annum L.) have adopted productions systems developed for other countries with climatic and socioeconomic conditions different from Mexico. This study examines the effects of different soilless systems on yield and nutrient solution use of bell pepper under low technology greenhouse in Tehuacan, Puebla, South Central Mexico. The experiment design was a complete random block with four repetitions; the experimental unit was 3 m2 which included 9 plants.

Prevalence of anaemia among the adolescent athletes of national sports academy

Anaemia is one of the most important public health problem. Many preschool children, school children, adolescents, pregnant women and lactating women are at high risk of nutritional anaemia. Knowing about the causes of anaemia will be helpful to prevent this health problem.
