The research used qualitative approach with case study method at State Vocational High School 2 Tangerang Selatan Banten province. Data collection using observation, in-depth interview and literature study.

Sensory acceptance of smoked mortadella prepared with surimi from flying fish added inulin

The objective of this research was to evaluate the microbiological quality, sensory acceptance and purchase intention of a smoked sausage prepared with surimi from flying fish added inulin and with reduction of fat. Seven treatments were formulated following an experimental and a control formulation using 15% of vegetable fat and 0% inulin. All treatments were within acceptable microbiological standards for human consumption, in accordance with the legislation in force in Brazil.

Women on the scene: humanized childbirth and gender violence

For centuries, childbirth was considered a private care of the female gender and was performed by midwives, women who transmitted their practical knowledge from each generation. With the advent of traditional medicine, childbirth became institutionalized as medical, male, safe and scientific knowledge, resulting in the marginalization of social practices. Pain perception and depression in patients with breast cancer

We studied pain perception and depression in a sample comprising 82 patients with breast cancer. Evaluation was done through standard form with socio-demographic questions. Relation between depression, McGill Pain Questionnaire, VAS and BDI corresponded to p >0.183. BDI related to quality of sleep with p = 0.036, the highest BDI being related to insomnia. Black and par do (brown-skinned) races revealed p < 0.05 in the McGill Pain Questionnaire for the affective, miscellaneous and total dimensions.
