The impact of industry 4.0 on vietnamese labor

The article investigates the impact of the Industry 4.0 on workforce productivity and labor market in Vietnam. This is illustrated that Vietnam has been in the period known as "Golden Population Structure” but the manufacturing depending on the low-skilled labors. Labor productivity in Vietnam has increased considerably in recent years but it is still very low in comparison with countries in Southeast Asia as well as in other Asian countries. Secondary data in the period from 2013 to 2017 was collected from General statistics office of Vietnam.

Reconstructing microfinance in sub-saharan Africa: Searching among social business, social banking and “co-management microfinancing”

As institutionalized microfinancing has come under much criticism along its quest in Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA), not least globally, the search for a more sustainable pro-poor operational approach is being sought. Nobel Laureate Mohammad Yunus believes that social business offers a more multidimensional approach capable of addressing the most pressing social and environmental problems of especially, poor people in developing countries. Besides, social banking/finance is also being advanced for the social welfare of the poor-but-entrepreneurial.

The priciple of corporate governance in the Ethiopian financial sector- a commentary

The financial sector of every economy accounts to half or even two third of the economy of a country. Despite almost two decades of deregulation and privatization in Ethiopia, the private sector still lives in the state’s shadow and has relatively limited access to finance and markets. The private sector firms in Ethiopia usually have close ties with the state sector and prosper on the peripheral of the state sector. They are not only influenced by state sentiment but also have to budget their capital expenditure or production schedules accordingly.

The paradox of livelihood strategies and urban landscape degradation in contested spaces: towards attaining a sustainable green City in Ado-Ekiti, Nigeria

Most environmental challenges confronting cities in developing countries emanate from the rapid rates of urbanization, population growth, and increasing space demand for human activities, overstretching land resources. In Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State capital in south-western Nigeria, people’s survival response culminated into encroachment on public spaces, resulting to socio-economic and environmental problems. Bare urban landscape lacking adequate open spaces and greenery heats up in the daytime, thereby making the environment uncomfortable for human activities.

The seismic regime of the da ladder of hydroelectric dam

In this paper, the authors present some primary study results of studying about seismic regime in the Da Ladder of hydroelectric Dam. The following results have shown that natural earthquakes occurred in the Da Ladder of hydroelectric Dam are the strongest in the Vietnam territory. The largest earthquakes with the magnitude of 6.7 have been observed in Tuan Giao and Lai Chau areas.

Family planning and teenage pregnancy

Teen pregnancy is a recurrent fact in Brazil which produces consequences because of the rough change in the young mothers’ lives. The main theme of this study is family planning and teen pregnancy. The research was realized at a Family Health Unit in Vitória da Conquista, Bahia, with 10 women, aged between 15 and 24 years old, who became mothers when they were between 12 and 17 years old. They answered a semi-structured questionnaire with open and close questions.

Buddistm in thailand: role of wat toward society in the period of sukhothai till early ratanakosin 1238–1910 a.d

The article is a review of my dissertation that the same title study on the question is “what are the roles of Buddhist temple towards the society in Thailand? That some part of study related to history and social of Thais belong to early period of Sukhothai era to early time of Ratanakok period. The Buddhist temple or Thais call “wat” played on the Thai society not only religion dimension but had roles participated education, social, art and cultural. Wat play a role as hospitals and lodging of a traveler. The roles that arise because of monks are spiritual teacher.

Lower limbs strength in elderly people from the physiotherapy intervention

Objective: This study looked for assessing the lower limbs strength gain from the physiotherapy intervention. Methods: It is an interventional, cross-sectional, analytical and quantitative study with 17 elderly people enrolled in a Vitória da Conquista Health Unit. A sociodemographic questionnaire was applied, and then the sit to stand test. Afterwards, the intervention began, comprised by exercises of resistance and the delivery of an informative booklet. The intervention was carried out for 30 days, twice a week, 60 minutes each, resulting in 10 sessions.

Spatial analysis of hansen’s disease and social conditions: An integrative review

Objective: To analyze the scientific production on spatial analysis of Hansen’sdisease and the relationship with the social conditions, the most prevalent Geographic Information Systems. Method: Integrative review of articles published in English, Portuguese and Spanish in the databases MEDLINE, SCOPUS, WEB OF SCIENCES, CINAHL, CUIDEN, LILACS, IBESC and BDENF. The methodological rigor and the level of evidence were verified by means of the Critical Appraisal Skills Programme (CASP) and evidence-based practice, respectively.

Diabetes Mellitus is a disease where the condition of blood sugar level exceeds normal limits. Globally by 2017 about 425 million people worldwide suffer from Diabetes Mellitus and the highest prevalence of Diabetes Mellitus in Indonesia is in Central Sulawesi about 3.7%. 43% or 3.7 million death due to high blood Sugar to patients with Diabetes Melitus in 2016. Cases of patients with Diabetes Mellitus in Anutapura Palu hospital reported in 2017 as many as 4177 patients.
