Fire outbreak is particularly rampant in the Kumasi Central Market. Data gathered from Ghana National Fire Service (2016) indicate that, since 1992, there have been multiple occurrences of fire outbreaks each year in the Market. Efforts put in place to curb the menace have proven less successful. There is growing knowledge that the persistence of these fire disasters is as a result of people’s noncompliance with fire safety regulations.

This paper explores the Time-Triggered Ethernet (TTEthernet) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) systems that transform industrial safety-critical systems. Adaptivity, efficiency, and reliability of the overall TTEthernet-based system are guaranteed by merging the new deterministic communication system in an industrial environment. The integrated system embraces intelligent security control of the integrated networks, featuring autonomous decision-making resource management and network security.

The volatility of share prices has demonstrated distinct trends in several worldwide exchange markets, such as the S&P 500 in the United States of America. There have been several attempts to identify potential causes of this volatility and strategies for mitigating it, but few studies have been conducted in this area, particularly in developing nations. Thus, the purpose of this study is to investigate how dividend policies affect the volatility of financial firms' stock returns that are listed on the S&P 500.

The COVID-19 epidemic has posed unique difficulties for small enterprises, especially those in rural areas, worsening their pre-existing obstacles caused by their isolated locations, sparse population, and scarce resources. There is insufficient information about the particular issues that rural small companies have after COVID-19. The study concentrated on Chivi Growth Point as a typical rural location, utilizing a case study approach and survey methods including 193 small companies.

The study aimed to compare the knowledge, attitudes, and practices of doctors and medical students about stethoscope hygiene and investigate the microbial load and prevalence of MRSA on stethoscopes. This cross-sectional, experimental study surveyed 100 participants, including 50 doctors and 50 medical students, and used microbiological tests to determine the microbial load and presence of MRSA on the stethoscopes. The results showed that medical students had a significantly higher median bacterial load than doctors, and 8 stethoscopes were contaminated with MRSA.

Biometrics are becoming essential and have been recommended as a technological method for identification due to its ability to provide unique verification of a person. Biometrics use physiological characteristics of the human’s body which were chosen because they usually do not change over a lifetime and cannot be duplicated or forgotten. Different biometrics technologies have proven to be applicable to solve the problems of duplicated patients’ records and assure a correct identity.

Introduction: The immune checkpoint HLA-G molecule is highly expressed in the placenta’s extravillous trophoblast cells and has a pivotal role in immune tolerance during pregnancy. Since HIV-1 can infect trophoblast cells and may modify HLA-G expression to subvert host immune defenses, in this study we evaluated the HLA-G expression in third-trimester placental tissue of women living or not with HIV-1.
