In view of the context experienced by organizations characterized by a crisis caused by the disease of the COVID-19 that modified the economic, social and technological space, it becomes vital, in any company, an administration focused on human resources management. In small companies, human resources management becomes crucial in promoting the growth of the enterprise and social visibility in the market. The objective of this work is to demonstrate the relevance of the human resources management sector for small companies in the city of Cajazeiras – Brazil.

The year 2020 was marked by the viral disease called the new coronavirus or covid-19. A lethal disease with a high degree of proliferation and contagion in which social isolation and distancing are the forms of palliative prevention to contain the mass advance of the virus. Educational institutions were closed to decrease human contact and most of them adhered to the remote teaching format. As a whole, the covid-19 pandemic modified the traditional classroom format and caused teachers and students to exchange the board and portfolios for the digital screen.

The supply chain through direct trade in agribusiness coffee: a look at the perspective of its agents

The main objective of this study is investigating how the new model of coffee trade, known as Direct Trade Coffee has increased worldwide and how it has changed the supply chain in coffee trade. Through interviews by multiple-case method, the agents of supply chain coffee as producers, roasters and cafeterias demonstrated your perceptions in trade production, distribution and selling specialty coffee. The Transition Cost Economics theory was used to understand how large the asymmetric information, opportunism and limited rationality impacts the supply chain value overall.

The state of Pará is the largest cocoa producer in Brazil, with 51% of national production, involving 26 thousand producers, generating 64 thousand direct and 225 thousand indirect jobs. However, diseases that affect this culture are responsible for high losses in yield. This study presents an approach based on deep learning to identify diseases that affect the cocoa culture. A public database with 4,389 fruit images was used, covering the diseases black pod rot and pod borer.

Relationship between abdominal fat, blood pressure and heart rate variability in the elderly

Senescence is the sum of changes of normal aging. Taking into account the consequences that the modification of body composition can cause on the nutritional status of the population, evaluating and detecting these as early as possible can contribute to reducing the health problems caused by it. The present study aimed to verify the relationship between abdominal fat and cardiovascular parameters in the elderly, by analyzing their heart rate variability (HRV) and using computed tomography to map the density and thickness of the abdominal wall.

Analysis of vertical and horizontal impulsion in male handball athletes from joinville-sc

Handball has become a popular sport because it is easy to learn and very common in Brazilian schools, mostly, given that it is an Olympic sport. The goal of this study is to analyze the vertical and horizontal impulsion index in male handball athletes from Joinville. The sample counted 17 athletes with ages ranging from 14 to 18 years old. Seventeen athletes belonging to the handball team of the city of Joinville were investigated.

Impact of cashless economy on the development of small and medium scales businesses in Jigawa State, Nigeria

Cashless economy does not mean a total elimination of cash; it is a financial environment that minimizes the use of physical cash by providing alternative channel for making payment. The objectives of this study include; to identify the challenges those have hindered the adoption of cashless policy by small and medium scale businesses, to investigate if cashless in any way enhanced a growth on small and medium scale business enterprises and finally to identify the challenges those that have hindered the adoption of cashless policy on small and medium scale businesses all in Jigawa State.
