This study conducted a thorough investigation from theory to the practice of promoting student interest in learning Econometrics. This study adopted Partial Least Squares (PLS) and the Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) methodologyfor analysis.

Rethinking youths in the high school context

This work aimed to problematize the school-youth-culture relationship.Therefore, the study of this work was conducted through a Literature Review. A atuação em segurança pública é permeada por desafios e situações conflitantes que impõe aos policiais militares elevada carga de estresse. O objetivo deste estudo foi analisar a ocorrência de estresse laboral e esgotamento profissional em policiais militares, compreendendo ainda o impacto de tal condição sobre a qualidade de vida e saúde dos profissionais. Trata-se de um estudo de revisão sistemática de literatura, estruturado conforme a metodologia Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA).

Mapping environmental education in public elementary schools

The objective of this research was to map, identify and understand the proposals implemented on the theme of environmental education, in Elementary Schools in the municipal public network of Macapá, state of Amapá, Brazil. The research, of a qualitative approach, was developed from a literature review and data search in theses and dissertations, produced in the period from 2010 to 2020, located in the Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations of the Brazilian Institute of Information in Science and Technology (IBCT).

Perception of early childhood teachers about the impact of social distancing during the pandemic

The application of intervention programs provokes reflections, when developing prevention strategies in order to reduce risk factors and vulnerabilities, increasing the protective factors present or inciting new protective behaviors. The ACT Raising Safe Kids Program - is one of such interventions that teaches non-aggressive behavior to educate children in safe environments. This research aims to verify the feasibility of the ACT program for early childhood education teachers.

Accessibility to people with autism spectrum disorder in museums

Autism Spectrum disorder (ASD) is a neurological condition that affects the brain development of individuals and consequently has an adverse effect on their social interactions and the manner in which they communicate. Characterized by stimulus hyper selectivity or hypo selectivity, autistic patients often develop stress and pressure resulting from over stimulation as they cannot concentrate on multiple stimuli. This explains why they may not have a pleasant experience when visiting museums.

Brazilian women, both white and afro-descendants, inspire sambas-enredo of são paulo carnival associations (1974 – 1988)

The focus of this text reflections is on some sambas-enredo (samba theme-songs) of Samba Schools that had women as inspiring muses to structure the parades displayed on the official catwalks of São Paulo carnivals from 1974 to 1988. These sambas-enredo were published in the Portal of SASP – Sociedade Amantes do Samba Paulista (Society of São Paulo Samba Lovers), a fact that enabled the research.

The impact of international financial reporting standards on the valuation of companies

This article studies the effect of the International Financial Reporting Standards - IFRS in the companies' valuation, checking especially, if there was difference in the realized prices between the pre-IFRS and post-IFRS period. Ascertain whether a new accounting standard theoretically superior in fact brought positive reflexes in practice is of utmost importance in the discussion between costs and benefits of adopting a new accounting disclosure practice.
