Mixed convection boundary layer nanofluid flow over an inclined stretching cylinder with thermal radiation

Lecturers Present article classifies the influence of mixed convection boundary layer MHD flow of nanofluid (Ag/ Cu-H2O) through porous stretching cylinder in the presence of thermal radiation. The governing non-linear PDE’s are reducedtoODE’s with boundary conditions by using similarity transformations. The numerical method known as Runge – Kutta fourth order has been taken in to account with shooting technique to solve the obtained ODE’s with assisting boundary conditions.

Learning model of news writing based on contextual approach: is it effective to increase students' ability in news writing?

Lecturers need to organize learning that is contextual, innovative, and interesting so that students are more motivated to learn and they get learning outcomes, especially in writing better news. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the contextual approach-based learning model to improve the ability of PBSI Study Program students in writing news. This research was conducted using a quasi-experimental technique (quasi-experiment) at three universities in the city of Semarang. The total number of respondents in this study was 120 students.

Trombose venosa pós cirurgia bariátrica, incidência e protocolos de profilaxia. revisão sistemática

The challenge in adopting prophylactic measures in thrombosis events, especially in bariatric surgeries, is explained by the low number of data that limit the elaboration of robust and evidenced guidelines. Thromboprophylaxis is a significant way to reduce mortality or disabling syndromes, such as chronic edema and ulcerations in the lower limbs. Given the lack of specific protocols in bariatric surgeries, records of abdominopelvic surgeries suggest extended prophylaxis.

The effect of physical therapy on children with autism and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder

Introduction: The benefits of physical activity on the mental health and overall well-being of children, including those with autism and other neurological difficulties, have been widely acknowledged. Studies have reported positive improvements in these areas as a result of regular physical activity. Research Aim: This article presents novel findings on the relationship between concurrent physical therapy and the mental health of children with autism, suggesting a significant positive correlation.

Explicit and implicit association techniques in the medical academic community to assess resistance in the use of medical diagnostic support systems

With the technological evolution in the health field, the development of software that helps the doctor in his decisions about the patient's diagnosis has intensified in recent years. The Medical Diagnosis Support System (SADM) becomes a relevant tool in this process, as it can contribute to better patient care, through a more assertive diagnosis. The objective of this work is to measure possible prejudices/resistance to the use of SADM by a group made up of medical professors and another by medical students from FAPAC/ITPAC Porto, in Porto Nacional, State of Tocantins.

A Critical Review of Virtual Clinics: Opportunities and Obstacles in Emergency Situations

The advent of virtual clinics has revolutionized the landscape of emergency medical services, offering unique opportunities and facing significant obstacles. This critical review evaluates the integration of virtual clinics into emergency situations, highlighting their potential to transform crisis response mechanisms. Virtual clinics, characterized by remote consultations and treatments facilitated through digital platforms, provide critical healthcare services without the need for physical patient-provider interactions.
