Disputes are a common occurrence in construction projects due to the involvement of multiple stakeholders with potentially conflicting interests. Factors such as communication breakdowns, differing perceptions and expectations, and competition over limited resources often lead to interpersonal conflicts on construction sites. These conflicts can hinder progress and affect overall project performance. This paper explores various organizational conflict resolution methods relevant to the construction industry. The approach includes a review of common conflict sources, an analysis of resolution techniques, and an evaluation of leadership's role in managing conflicts effectively. Sources of Conflict: Identification of major triggers of disputes on construction sites, including communication gaps and resource constraints. Examination of strategies such as negotiation, mediation, and improved communication. Analysis of how leadership styles and behaviors influence conflict outcomes and contribute to a collaborative working environment. Understanding the root causes of conflict and applying suitable resolution strategies can significantly enhance teamwork and productivity in construction projects. Emphasizing effective leadership and structured communication fosters a culture of cooperation, helping to keep projects aligned with goals and timelines.
