Monitoring the temperature of a power transformer has a crucial role to keep it's good performance, prolonging its lifetime, as well as, ensuring stability of the whole electric system. In this paper, we've estimated the top-oil temperature and the coil hotspot. A fuzzy logic-based methodology was developed leading to satisfying results compared to the IEEE-C5791 model.
Ensuring that assets in an electrical substation are managed only when needed is essential to minimizing maintenance costs. In this work, we present a system based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) to contribute to decision making about the performance of predictive maintenance. This system will provide substation operators with additional indicators of the operational condition of the transformers, determining which equipment is most likely to fail in the short term, based on analog and digital data from the substation supervision system.
The visual field is fundamental for the construction of human perception. Despite this understanding, its evaluation and treatment remain forgotten during the process of functional rehabilitation in individuals with neurological injury. There is still no consensus on the forms of treatment that can be used. Therefore, it was observed the importance of exposing the results of a case in which a patient was submitted to a protocol with Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation (tDCS), associated with Visual Stimulation (VS) for restitution of visual field lost after Ischemic Stroke (IS).
Objective: This study aimed to evaluate the antimicrobial and antibiofilm potential of 10% Aloe vera gel against in vitro oral bacteria compared with 2% Chlorhexidine Gluconate gel. Design: The antimicrobial activity was evaluated using radial diffusion and agar perforation. The results were identified by the presence and visual size of the halo of inhibition of the bacterial growth around the holes. The microbial biofilm formation assay was conducted in 24-well surface-modified polystyrene plates with flat bottom.
Ansiedade é uma emoção frequente, sinal de alarme perante uma situação que pode constituir uma ameaça e caracterizada por um estresse que provoca uma excitação emocional. É um problema relacionado à saúde mental que pode gerar distúrbios graves, como depressão e o suicídio. Diante disso, o objetivo geral do presente estudo foi avaliar o nível de sintomas de ansiedade e a prática de atividade física dos escolares da Zona Sudeste de Teresina-PI.
The aim of the study was to identify biomarkers of morbidity in people with diabetic retinopathy (DR). This is an integrative literature review of studies addressing DR as a biomarker of morbidity. Full studies published between 2010 and 2020 in English, Spanish and Portuguese languages were included. The search was conducted in the VHL, PubMed and ScIELO databases, using morbidity, biomarkers and diabetic retinopathy as descriptors. Six articles were selected, corresponding to the objective of the study.
Child-juvenile cancer corresponds to a group of several diseases that have in common the uncontrolled proliferation of abnormal cells and that can occur anywhere in the body. According to the National Cancer Institute (INCA), in most cases, the symptoms are related to the common disease in childhood, thus representing the first cause of death with 8% of the total among children and adolescents from 1 to 19 years old., present in all Brazilian regions.
A sociedade em caráter mundial está vivenciando um período de pandemia do coronavírus que se manifestou primariamente em Wuhan, na China, e que se alastrou de forma grotesca para todo o mundo. O novo coronavírus é responsável pela síndrome respiratória aguda grave denominada como Sars-CoV-2. Consequentemente os profissionais de enfermagem durante atuação profissional foram desafiados para prestar atendimento o enfrentamento do novo COVID19, por ser um vírus desconhecido, e a situação torna-se mais complexa, quando o indivíduo diagnosticado trata-se de gestante.
Introduction: The nursing team is involved in all the stages of the assistance given to the patient, which generates a high quantity of registers related to the procedures. Objective: To analyze the failures in the nursing notes that interfere with the quality of care according to the literature. Methodology: This is Integrative Literature Review research in the LILAC, BDENF and SCIELO electronic library databases from original articles, in Portuguese language published in the period from 2010 to 2020.
Introdução: A humanização da saúde é vista no contexto atual como um movimento integrador das relações da saúde, buscando a melhoria do atendimento e um ambiente propício para o desenvolvimento do cuidado. Objective: to analyze the practice of humanized care by the nursing team in Brazilian ICUs facing humanization in Intensive Care Units, in the period from 2015 to 2020. Metodologia: Pesquisa bibliográfica, de abordagem qualitativa do tipo descritiva. Results: Fourteen studies were selected, all in Portuguese.
