In recent times the enormous usage of pesticides has led to a huge deterioration of soil and consequently the aquatic ecosystem and its inhabitants. Fishes are commonly the target animals due to pesticide contamination in water bodies at large. It is being understood that the fishes create a stress response towards the entry of toxic chemicals by means of synthesizing a group of novel proteins called stress proteins which play a major role in the stress- resistance.

The present investigation was carried out to study the probable role of caffeine (1, 3, 7-Trimethylxanthine) on mercury induced alterations on the experimental freshwater bivalve, Lamellidens corrianus (Lea). The effect on bivalve was studied under five groups. A group bivalve were kept as control, B group bivalves were exposed to acute dose (LC50/2) of mercury (0.6 ppm equivalent to 0.444 ppm Hg++), C group bivalves were exposed to acute dose (LC50/2) of mercuric chloride with caffeine (5 mg/L.). After 4 days bivalves from group B were divided into two groups D and E.

The present work has for object the comparison by digital simulation of the mechanical behavior of tiles in micro-concrete, the small and wide size to operate a choice on the dimensions and the existing geometrical forms. A modeling of tiles by the software of calculation of structures Robot Millennium 17.0 allowed on one hand to determine the variations of the fields of constraints and the fields of movements of these tiles, to compare the variations of the fields of constraints and movements of the various types of tiles, on the other hand.

The study investigated the influence of job stress on family social behaviour of bankers in Enugu State of Nigeria. The study was aimed at identifying the sources and influences of job stress on bankers. Thermal control in buildings is highly essential in the tropics where high solar radiation is received throughout the year. Its importance cannot be overemphasized in the face of climate change which is rapidly changing our world and exposing it to higher risk of environmental disasters. Climate change has been attributed to increased energy use from various human activities which cause a release of carbon dioxide and other green house gases into the atmosphere. Thermal control in buildings is one of the gate ways to minimizing the energy used for cooling.

Objective: The study was designed to evaluate anti-ulcer activity of ethanolic and aqueous seed extracts of Gynocardia odorata roxb. by using pylorus ligation and indomethacin induced ulcer models inrats.

The entitled work "abstract Study and validation of a device of tests of quality control of the mechanical characteristics of tiles, wide size in micro-concrete " has for main object to propose a technology of improvement of the tests of quality control of the mechanical characteristics such as: fold resistance three (3) points and four (4) points, shock resistance and traction resistance of the heel.
