The present communication discusses the relations of truth and the social context in which it is waffirmed, relating temporality, contextuality and historicity, having as a starting point the thoughts of Foucault and Nietzsche. The text also seeks to place disinformation and fake science in the context of confronting the truth as a fissure in the social fabric that exposes the tensions among regimes of truth.
