Role of homoeopathy in dyslexia

Dr. Sachin Musmade, Pranali Lage and Sumit Kunjir

Abstract:

Dyslexia is a specific learning disability of neurobiological origin characterized by difficulty in accurate and/or fluent word recognition, poor spelling, and decoding abilities. It is independent of intelligence and results from a deficit in the phonological component of language. Early identification and multimodal intervention, including educational remediation and supportive therapies, improve outcomes. While conventional management focuses on educational strategies, homeopathy offers individualized constitutional remedies aimed at addressing the underlying susceptibility and associated cognitive, emotional, and behavioral aspects. This article summarizes the definition, etiology, clinical features, investigation, management, and commonly indicated homeopathic medicines for dyslexia.
