The current enhancement of appearance, increasingly widespread in the media, has led people to seek to achieve an imposed standard by undergoing a series of procedures to achieve the ideal appearance. Among the recurring and most prevalent discomforts in women, is the fibroid geloid edema- FEG, which is one of the reasons for greater demand for clinical treatment. This study aims to describe the action of manual lmphatic drainage in the treatment of fibroid edema in women in the thigh region. This is an exploratory case study, which evaluated two female participants, aged between 25 and 50 years old, with a major complaint of grade II and III firoid edema in the thighs. The drainage technique used was that of Leduc and Leduc, a performed twice a week. In addition to the photographic record for comparison, data analysis was performed descriptively. Both patients had improved in the overall appearance of the skin. It was concluded that manual lymphatic drainage showed improvement in the degree and appearance of the geloid fibro edema in both evaluated and treatment women. However, it is suggested that it should be associated with a set of adaptations and lifestyle habits.
