Impacts of the strategic planning of instant development of the state university of quevedo, ecuador 2012-2015

Abstract: 

The university education in Ecuador is in constant change and reforms in order to raise the quality of all the processes that are developed in the universities and for that it is necessary of a strategic planning that sets the way forward. This article is the result of an in-depth research on the strategic planning carried out at Quevedo State Technical University in Ecuador in the period 2012-2015, (this university develops the sciences of agronomy and animal production) Which aims to explain the processes and results of strategic planning in the areas of Teaching, research, vinculation with society and university management, as well as the data, tables and graphs that illustrate the whole process of evaluation and Internal and external self-evaluation of the model of this university in the indicated period, which allowed to explain the impacts that the accreditation process had on the different levels of management in the various areas evaluated. All the data offered are duly endorsed by each of the internal dependencies and levels of management of the university, which gives a high reliability to this research. The results that are shown have their origin in the criteria of the matrix on strengths, opportunities, weaknesses and threats that were obtained during the applied diagnosis. The results obtained allowed to project the new strategic planning for the period 2016-2020, which already presents its first satisfactory
