Bearing in mind that reverse logistics has been present in several segments since the 40s of the twentieth century, which at the present moment there is a great social charge for the preservation and restoration of the environment, with reverse logistics being a device for business performance on this way of pursuing sustainability. The construction sector compulsorily extracts raw material from nature, in addition to being a major waste generator, generating millions of tons of waste annually that are improperly discarded and what causes wasting of this material that could be reintegrated into the chain through post-consumer reverse logistics. This article aimed, through bibliographical and field research to analyze the generation and disposal of civil construction waste in Gurupi/TO, with the goal of studying the possibility of implementing reverse logistics in this city in the civil construction sector. It was seen that there is no application of reverse logistics and there is still an inadequate disposal of waste.
