Perfil e condições laborais da enfermagem no enfrentamento da Covid-19

Objective: To identify the profile and working conditions of the Nursing team in coping with coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in the Macroregion Jequitinhonha. Methods: Quantitative descriptive cross-sectional study, with the application of a questionnaire (Google Forms), containing 19 closed questions. 150 nursing professionals from Jequitinhonha, active in the pandemic of COVID-19, were questioned. Results: The findings showed that among the interviewees, 45.3% worked in tertiary care. For 66%, there was little availability of personal protective equipment, and 51.3% felt insecure due to incomplete dressing in care for the infected patient. 91.3% exposed the fear of contamination, resulting in family distance and the appearance of anxiety attacks, in 65.3% and 66% of cases, respectively. Conclusion: The unsafe environment for the nursing professional, associated with the poverty and lack of Jequitinhonha, directly reflect on coping with COVID-19, which can reverberate in psychosocial vulnerability.after the pandemic.
