It was identified that the main tools used by nursing professionals for the prevention of Pressure Injuries (PSIs) are: Bradenscale, cushions, decubitus change and bedstorage. As well, the main challenges faced are: lack of knowledge regarding prevention and treatment of PSIs, and human and material resources; failure to systematize nursing care; and others. To facilitate the understanding of the data, the discussion was fragmented into three categories: Knowledge of nursing professionals in relation to PSI prevention; Main barriers faced by professionals through PSI prevention; and Applicability of health praxis and their impact on PSI prevention.
