A migração na américa latina: uma perspectiva geral do fenômeno

Analyzing the phenomenon of migrants in Latin America has become relevant especially due to the current worsening of political and socioeconomic issues in some countries. The path chosen for the analysis of this phenomenon was to evaluate the literature on migration in Latin America found in the Web of Science Science (WoS) database - Clarivate Analytics, proposing a reflection on the contemporary scenario on this theme. To corroborate the justification of the research, we also sought, together with the WoS database, bibliometric articles from the keywords "migration AND Latin America AND Bibliomet*" finding a single bibliometric article, which is focused on the health of migrants. The main results point to an inconsistency in the discussion of the phenomenon considering the quantity produced and the relevance of the situations faced.
