Abstract:

In the present paper, nanosized calcium copper titanate (CaCu3Ti4-xCoxO12, CCTCO, x=0.10) powders were synthesized by solid state route. The microstructure and dielectric properties of polycrystalline CCTO samples sintered at different temperatures were investigated. The results which obtained showed grain growth with increasing of sintering temperature. On other hand, dielectric constant of CCTCO sintered at 950 and 1000 °C showed frequency and temperature dependence in the range of 103 to 2.106 Hz, and gives values of 903 and 995 measured at room temperature and 103 Hz, respectively. While the samples sintered at 1050°C showed weakly frequency and temperature dependence and gave a value larger of 11071. The Complex impedance used Cole–Cole plots to interpret the relaxation mechanism.
