The development situation of vietnamese digital libraries

Purpose: Assessing the development situation of digital library in Vietnam in different phases. Design/methodology/approach: This study used material analytical and synthetic and obervations method to figure out the practical and the advantages and disadvantages of developing of Vietnamese digital libraries. Findings: Demonstrating the development situation of Vietnamese digital libraries in terms of information technology infrastructure, digital content and digital librarian. Besides, the study also pointed out the advantages and disadvantages of Vietnamese digital library development. Originality/value: This article help to figure out an overview of Vietnamese digital libraries from the beginning period to now.
